I am an ocanographic modeler and an amateur surfer/stand-up paddle boarder.
When the sport of stand up paddle boarding apeared, I was wondering about its physiological characteristics so I ran a study with my bachelor students characterizing it.
As with like any research I wrote a paper and I am trying to get it published. In none of the journal I submitted to I didnt even get to the review stage, which suggests is just not good enough, but doesnt give me any insight as to what I should improve.
I know the paper is not perfect, but I also know that as a stand up paddle boarder or as a surfing coach the paper does give important insights so I suspect that to some extend the problem is with the fact that sport sciences is not my discipline.
Is there any mechanism/website I can post my paper and get a review that will help me improve my paper?
