Any possible way to get a solid carbon dot? I have done lyophilization but am only getting a paste that is not drying up. I need solid material for characterization. kindly any possible help?
Do you have a really good freeze dryer where you can control freezing temperture on the shelf, and then the product temperature when under vacuum?
Controlling freezing, vacuum and then shelf temperature are key.
What are your solvent(s)? These, and the formulation of the mixture also affect the freeze drying properties of the dots.
Kind regards - Rob
I used water as the solvent
