As I am a beginner in using R, I am still confused about fitting variogram in gstat.
i uploaded my data already and converted it into a spatial point data frame through a coordinates command.
but still have problems in selecting the exact numbers for sill, range, and nugget.

Dear Amany,
a good initial psill value is mean(vt.c,$gamma), where vt.c is your experimental semivariogram. Also the range parameter can be set initially as cutoff/8, if you used cutoff for the call of variogram(). If not, then, instead of cutoff, you can calculate the length of the diagonal of the bounding box of your dataset.

Hi Amany,
If you type this code in R, I think this selects the best model to fit the variogram.
