I sent a request for an article to a professor at UPenn. This is my dream school and I was doing research on their Criminology department. But the request sent before I finished typing and so it was incomplete. How do I get it back? Or send a follow-up?
Dr. Saara, It is very normal and happened to many. So no worries. Did you send the request over mail or researchgate? anyway you can always send a follow up and apologies for the initial mistake. You can send the same request to the co-author, if any.

Getting it back will prove difficult but I would recommend that you send a follow-up request indicating that your current request supersedes any previous request. Professors will typically go by recency in terms of the email requests too.
Mistakes always considered but not execuse. Follow up and send again, It's happen with everyone. All the best
