the thixotropy tests, yield experiments, and Oscillation stress sweep experiments  and so on are conducted to investigate the properties of a specific waxy crude oil , but results are difficult reproducible and incapable comparable as influenced by the  shear history and thermal history of the crude oil . I don't know whether there aresome standards to eliminate this influence.some references refer to pretreat the crude oil with specic temperature(such as 80℃) to remove the shear and thermal history of the crude oil,but I don't know how the determine the specific temperatre for my experiments and don't know whether there are some standards for it. thank you for your attention and suggestions
