I want to find the capacitance of interdigitaled capacitor theoretical. I am facing a lot of problem to find this. Actually, when i find the capacitance then R L components also coming. I do not understand how calculate it. Edge of finger also gave some capacitance, i do not understand that this edge capacitance is coming parallel or series to parallel capacitance of fingers.

To estimate the capacitance of such planar interdigitated structure you have to indicate the cross section of the capacitor.

there is no another solution to calculate the value of the capacitance (using matlab for exemple), because i need in my work to calculate the theoretical value and to compare with the simulated one

This paper could be helpful. An analytical solution of the capacitance was compared to electromagnetic simulations using COMSOL and with experimental measurements.
