Looking for a way to calculate the magnetic anisotropy D from measurements using a SQUID. If any one has papers or formulae, that would be of immense help.
Here is one possibility based on the local variation of the blocking temperature T_B as a function of particle radius r (determined from ZFC-FC measurements). The magnetic anisotropy constant K at each temperature is given by K=25k_BT_B/, where is the r-dependent median volume of the particles.
In principle, K value can be also deduced from the coercivity and saturation magnetization within the hysteresis loop measurements (see Ref.[8] from the attached paper).
