I need a tesla coil at least like 3 or 4 times larger than what I currently have (a 15V/2A output) it WORKS but my LED must be like within an inch of the keychain sized tesla coil! …all the kits are to build SMALL SAME SIZE OUTPUTS OR ARE WAY TO BIG (and dangerous, not to mention expensive as hell too!!!)!!!
Please if anyone has some guidance or hep on how to know like if i make 1 from scratch how do i know how may turns of Wire do I need in my coil and things like resistor sizes and ALL of that if it is not in a ore assembled "kit" but again, they do not build what I need, or build WAY TO COMPLICATED and dangerous stuff to even attempt to be honest...)
The Tesla coil operates with bright sparks and loud noise, but has a very low efficiency.
A conventional radio transmitter and receiver with a resonant LC-circuit is less remarkable, but has a much higher efficiency. This principle is used in a wireless inductive charger for mobile phones.
But the record holder for the efficiency of wireless power transmission is the core transformer.
You have to make your choice - either light and noise effects or efficiency ;--)
or is this also what you are referring to if I were to still make use of the tesla coil? I DO want the light and noise effects but just better efficiency than what I currently have. I want to BUILD it myself, and not from a kit, as they seem to be extremely complicated and usually from like China LOL so It wouldn't even have a schematic directions or probably a US Adaptable Outlet... not without needing another part just to plus it in LOL@ ...in all honesty, and I thin I should be able to achieve a further distance f energy transmission without my having to work with dangerous levels of voltage....

I advise you not to trust the advertising promises of the kit manufacturers. A long procedure of tuning the transmitter and receiver into resonance awaits you. No guarantee of successful completion. If you have problems reinstalling the mains plug, then I do not advise you to engage in any experiments with the Tesla coil.
