I have a bubbler to produce volatile gases. According to the paper attached, when the carrier gas is completely saturated with the analyte vapour, the thermodynamic vapour pressure becomes the saturated vapour pressure. In an experiment, how to I know when the carrier gas is completely saturated with the analyte vapour?
It is very hard to be sure that the saturation is reached with only one bubbler. The best way is to place several bubblers in series.
Multiple bubblers is required (at least two but I prefer 3) in series plus maintaining constant temp control over the contents of ALL of the bubblers , especially the last one in the series. Also use a good diffuser on inlet side of each so as to make the bubbles as small as possible - example a fritted glass bubbler

You can use Antoine constants tables for various liquids to determine the temp required for any given amount of the liquid's vapor in the gas mixture out of the bubblers
