How did you relate the effective work function with affinity in FN equation?

I compared general FN formula with your equation published in this paper. After substituting the constants and the numerical values I found It ends up with two different relations between work function and electron affinity.

The relation of the effective work function with affinity in FN equation is based on the improvement on the Fowler-Nordheim (F-N) theory {(Forbes R. G. Physics of generalized Fowler-Nordheim-type equations. J. Vac. Sci. Technol. B 26, 788 (2008)}. Also is good for you to have a look this paper (Sci Rep. 2014; 4: 4676.
