We have been growing bulk ternary crystal by using vertical directional solidification (VDS) technique. The qualities of the wafers cut from these ingots have been assessed by the different measurement and characterization. These assessed substrates showed the high quality crystals and are grown by VDS. Majority ingots showed the convex shape at the end i.e. cap of the ingots. However, some ingots showed the drop formation instead of convex shape at the end. These ingots pictures are attached for reference.
