In mass spectra of dipyrrins I often find two peaks at m/z 368 and 385 (against M+ or MH+). How can you explain this?

What are the exact mass of your dipyrrins? Is it something happening with different samples ?
Never had this issue with mass spectra of simple dipyrinns appended in position 5.
Maybe due to your synthesis or due to the cleaning of the mass spectra device. Maybe you can see if these are impurities present on other spectra with the people in charge of the mass spectroscopy device.
I work with 5-aryldipyrrins. Masses of ligands are around 450-500
It could be device error, but many spectra are perfect in the same conditions. I guess the explanation of this fact could help me understand the destruction process. Thank you
Have you checked different aggregations/ionizations? maybe your compound is just doubly charged like M2+ or MH2+ that can also happens as what you see are just relations between mass/charge this looks like half the mass of your compounds
