My research is to develop a new set of creep damage constitutive equations, which is based on the analysis on other researcher’s experimental data and observations. We do not have experiments. After two years survey and investigation with other researcher’s literature data, now I come up with a very similar equation set that anther researchers already developed for uni-axial stress stage (further work about multi-axial stress state equations is still going on), I have passed my first year and second year progression viva/report and this is my third year, I am struggled with this situation now. No one in this university know anything about my research, and one one exactly know that if I could pass the PhD viva! I was wondering if anyone have any idea about my situation? Is it possible to obtain my PhD degree? Is there any criterion for PhD student to know how is their research worth for a PhD or not then if I did three years study in this topic and I could not obtain my PhD degree that is wasting of time and money and everything!

Many thanks!
