Yes, precisely. Some things are not in the usual place (for example teeth in the stomach), that let think those "bodies" (done in the 19th century), if they ever exist, were manipulated some way. On another hand, my question was wondering how this miracle of preservation of the bodies forms for 18 centuries, below 15m of volcanic eruption could physically happen? Because, for what I know, there's no other volcano in the world where bodies or whatever was preserved. So what? Pompeians were a superior kind of beings, heat-resistant ? Because they were from Roman upper class? I'm sure if you give them a Carbone 14 test, it will reveal the truth: they are from the 19th Century... And please excuse-me ranker isn't a research page. In the first 2 lines, I spotted 3 main errors and the rest is totally politically correct and brings no new info but legends.
The ashes from the volcanic eruption encased the people of Pompeii, (essentially a plaster cast around the citizens) which "froze" them in their last moments of life sadly trying to hide or defend themselves and loved ones from the massive inescapable cloud of volcanic ash.
How comes it's the only place in the world it happened? And your explanation isn't scientific. The question is: how comes human organic tissues could resist extreme heat from volcanic eruption? I think the Pompeians did die far before the eruption, because of toxic gases. But really this old tale of the petrified bodies does not work anymore. And how could Fiorelli spot under 15m ashes those human miracles that resist a volcanic eruption? Most probably, he had the map... ;-)
