When a scientist has succeeded in developing a geospatial model according to existing (or propagated) geodata, then he/she makes an innovative breaktrhough! However, the importance of this model is determined when it is operated in real life. According to your opinion and knowledge, which is the best method to apply your theoretical model in real life: through funding of an independent research project, through funding and support by governmental agency, or through funding of an international organization? Could you give us some additional feedback?
