I am doing full crystal simulations in Crystal09 software and seeing the vibrational modes in Moldraw/Jmol visualization softwares. I want to save the vibrational modes as a movie file. How to go about creating a movie file for each of the modes?

An easy way is to use VMD software, In the top bar, go to "extension" and then choose "movie maker", then you just have to play with the setting.

Mr Ray, with 3DStudio (http://www.autodesk.de/products/autodesk-3ds-max/overview). I(f you have not this software than the Windows' MovieMaker can be also utilized. You should save each of the movements of your optimized molecular vibration as separate *.jpg file and than by the above program you may create movie. The GaussView, which I employed for visualization has the same problem. The vibrations are visualize, but it is unable to export the 'view' as movie file.
For my eLectires and eTextbooks I utilized exactly above shown approach. It is quite slow (unfortunately), but the quality of the movies ie good and is accepted by the Editors publishing eLectures and eBooks online/CDs.
