There are at least three of my coauthors who are shown as the wrong people, but I cannot seem to find a way to report or correct these. Terrible that others are taking credit for their work.
This is sad. No one would be happy seeing his/her scientific efforts claimed by someone else. I think you can add their correct profile to the authors list and remove the fake authors. This should be done through your profile - research items - .......
It seems to me that you have accepted RG suggestions which were wrong. You can reupload your publications after removing those with wrong coauthors. Only drawback is that your reads and recommendations, if any, will be lost.
Today i was trying to upload my research papers at my profile at Researchgate, and encountered with unexpected experience. A person having the same name as of me (same spelled name) has already uploaded my research papers in his own profile, and so, the Researchgate's upload system is stopping me to upload it. The error message reflects, that the DOI's are matching. Here, please also be informed that a few years ego these research papers had been published by me through different online journals, and were openly accessible on web. I have all credentials- raw files, raw data as well as all required documents in support to prove my claim. I am ready to face any cross-examination process through defense/jury/reference verification etc...etc...! What is suggestible for me to do? Please help. Please treat this important and urgent.

ResearchGate strives to connect your profile with all of your research automatically. However, if we've missed something, or someone else has already taken authorship of your publication incorrectly, you can request authorship by going to the publication's page on Researchgate by clicking on its title. Select the arrow 📷 at the top right-hand side of the page and then click Claim authorship from the drop-down list.
From there, select your name from the list or request to add your name to the author list by clicking on + Add name. Providing as much additional information as possible helps us to process your request quickly and correctly.
If you have already submitted an authorship request for a publication or author name, please note that all authorship requests are curated manually - this means that it can sometimes take time. We thank you for your patience.
How many days will it take the changes to be effected? I made the correction more than 24 hours now, still having "we will process your request shortly"
