Nowadays there's no serious attention to study among student because of many factors and mainly with enormous distractors, like social media, therefore it is important to truncate their attention to have some knowledge in their field of study.
I am not talking about the good or top-level student but about the common ones.

I believe that the practical application of some curriculum subjects motivates the student to understand and creativity that comes by asking the student to apply the practical of his choice and according to the curriculum and then decided to give his experience to students and presented in a scientific form and discuss the results and constraints encountered during work
A student will be inducted into a college based on his merit, calibre and after undergoing a tough competitive exam. These students have spark and are capable of doing new projects and new assignments. I agree that among them some may be having relatively good knowledge than others. Coming to the motivation of students, they should be given free interaction with their respective lecturers. They should have an open discussion and make them to feel free to express their views. They should be given small mini projects and assignments and guide them. If they are lagging they should be counselled. The lectures in class should not be purely theoretical but be told and demonstrated in a more practical way. The students should be sent along with the university lecturer to industry to understand what is going on. They should also be given training in which they are interested in industry. Overall, the students should be motivated in such a way to make them read and understand the subject with love and passion but not as a burden with pressure. In order to have a fresh environment they also may be introduced to yoga, meditation, games etc. so that while coming back from this they may concentrate more and more on academics.
I think by good dealing with them which building on respect your thinking or your mind as friendly relationship and growing experience by practical applications with participate in serve community
Apart from teaching in the class, I would take to the laboratory and demonstrate the theory behind the topic. If large equipment has to be seen, I would encourage and take them to the nearby industry. However, if a student wants to completely understand, they would be given practical training to get hands on experience.
