Now, that the act of terrorism and incessant killings is of the increase in different countries. I think it is becoming very crucial to provide solutions from biological point of view.
I am not so sure. First, what empirical evidence is there that terrorism and incessant killings are on the increase? Publicity and media coverage certainly is. Meanwhile the police in America shoot dead over 1000 people per year, not to mention the hundreds of thousands killed in Afghanistan and Iraq by inept western intervention. No mention of that. Clearly identify the cause of any problem and respond to it. Second, science/technical solutions to security issues tend to be highly invasive of civil liberties, rights and personal integrity and are becoming a menace to the individual person. Meanwhile, they rarely make the individual any more secure (massive lack of empirical risk analysis or cost benefit available to assess security effectiveness). In all my years studying terrorism in N Ireland the one thing police and Army stressed was how their success was premised on human intelligence and that 70% of their intelligence was down to a good, old fashioned 'copper' on his beat. Well trained and experienced 'coppers' and 'squaddies' (private soldiers) were what counted who knew their 'beat' and could sniff out something not quite right. I think it is high time we got away from the 'technology solves everything' view of the world and recognised that the real front line is human. But, then, the UK government has slashed police and Army numbers by 20% in recent years.
