How can we study ionic conductivity of nano particles through grain boundaries using electrochemical study? We have CV and FRA data.... Can these data, supported by TEM, throw light on the mechanism of ionic conduction and conductivity through grain boundaries?

Electrochemical study by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy investigate the combined contributions of grain boundaries to both electronic and ionic conductivity and not investigate separately ionic conductivity alone. Please note that the grain boundary density does not only influence the ionic properties, but also impacts the electronic conductivity and usually not in a positive manner.
