Although i have made the reflective model but i also thinks that it can be a formative model. how to distinguish between these two clearly and logically ?
Dear, reflective and formative model depend on theoretical justification. First your justify it through theoretically either reflective or formative (read once Hair et al.,2006-2010,2017 for this approach). Let say you have justified model being formative. Hence, the arrow will go from indicators i.e. items to you latent variables. To put it into another way, The one sided arrow will show direction from items to constructs. While in reflective, the head of arrow will lead to items. There is a simple method in PLS where you can convert your model from reflective to formative by one click.
