It is not enough to legislate protection laws, monitoring the vast expanse is imperative but difficult given the background of inadequate supply of electricity as well as dwindling economy. Public education is necessary but the general economic environment must improve to sustain protection of natural resources. Population pressure also should not be ignored in the need to clear the forest for food production for urban population.
