The easy mean to preserve the biodiversity is to encourage ex situ breeding which can significantly reduce the pressure on the wildlife species. However, this strategy can take several years because the biology of the considered specie need to be known.
If the strategy of preservation is urgent, for me the main action is to identify their living areas and protected them from the current and future threats.
Biodiversity conservation protects plant, animal, microbial and genetic resources for food production, agriculture, and ecosystem functions such as fertilizing the soil, recycling nutrients, regulating pests and disease, controlling erosion, and pollinating crops and trees. Preserving Habitats is one of the most important things that can be done to help conserve biodiversity is to protect the habitats that are home to various species. This can be done through the establishment of protected areas, such as national parks and nature reserves. Humans should stop exploiting the use of plants and animals for their own selfish needs and we should control the growing population in order to conserve and protect biodiversity and reducing the impact of climate change through worldwide effort would protect millions of species from extinction. Biodiversity should be conserved to prevent species extinction. It is preserved to maintain a balance in nature. If one organism in the food chain gets extinct it will impact the lives of other organisms. Biodiversity plays a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources. It provides ecosystem services such as pollination, nutrient cycling, and soil conservation. Biodiversity helps in pollination, nutrient cycling as well as recycling, greenhouse gas reduction by sequestration. Social and cultural services: Biodiversity provides us with aesthetic pleasure. It provides recreational avenues and rich biological diversity encourages tourism in the region. Strategies for biodiversity conservation is unique ecosystems should be preserved first. The resources should be utilized efficiently. Poaching and hunting of wild animals should be prevented. The reserves and protected areas should be developed carefully. The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is the international legal instrument for "the conservation of biological diversity, the sustainable use of its components and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising out of the utilization of genetic resources" that has been ratified by 196 nations. Biodiversity conservation are to preserve the diversity of species, sustainable utilization of species and ecosystem and maintain life-supporting systems and essential ecological processes.
The conservation strategy is a series of conservation actions that collectively achieve the biological goals and objectives of the Habitat Plan. The conservation strategy provides mitigation for impacts on covered species on the basis of species and habitat needs. The three interlocking, overlapping arrows symbolize the three objectives of conservation: - maintenance of essential ecological processes and life-support systems; - preservation of genetic diversity; - sustainable utilization of species and ecosystems. The two strategies are ex situ and in situ conservation. Ex situ conservation means the conservation of components of biological diversity outside their natural habitats. Preserving genetic diversity ensures the continuing existence of a wide-range of crops that may be able to withstand disease, and potentially useful biochemicals such as those used in healthcare. It also means availability of species for pollination and pest control. There are many ways you can protect wildlife. Sustainable land use practices, public education and awareness, tree planting, recycling, and wildlife habitat creation are all examples of techniques protecting the natural environment. The most obvious reason for conservation is to protect wildlife and promote biodiversity. Protecting wildlife and preserving it for future generations also means that the animals we love don't become a distant memory. And we can maintain a healthy and functional ecosystem. Support local and regional projects aimed at tackling biodiversity loss. Buying fewer products and making sure the products you do buy minimize the impact on biodiversity. Biodiversity should be conserved to prevent species extinction. It is preserved to maintain a balance in nature. If one organism in the food chain gets extinct it will impact the lives of other organisms. Biodiversity is essential for the processes that support all life on Earth, including humans. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely on to provide us with the air we breathe and the food we eat.
