I suggest more gamification elements as a leaderboard or other forms of mutual comparison with another researcher with the intention of improving its own profile...
Recently, the RG management team made some moves that really affect the site positively. However, there are still areas to improve on and I believe the team will welcome suggestions. Areas such as:
For the users, by improving the quality of discussions, and for the website by improving smartphone application quality, to be like that used by computers.
I totally agree with Dr. Amir W. Al-Khafaji's recommendations. In addition, I would like to add that quite recently the RG rolled an update which is quite tiring, at least for me. Previously we could just scroll down and read RG members' answers to certain queries; however, now we need to click repeatedly "show previous responses" to see the responses.
Very nice question, I agree with the above, and in my opinion it would be nice to have some Android application for mobile phones, which is simple and practicns. Greetings
Maybe it's a little crazy, I propose two scores. A score Pi for (number of Publication, number of citation and number of collaboration) and another score Ai for Activity (the questions, the answers ...etc).
i think we can improve and support research gate website by encouraging researchers to log in, make account and publishing researches in this platform.
RG should not include the number of answers and answer recommendations in the calculation of scores. That should prevent people from attempting to up their scores with useless answers or from scouring the internet for something to say about something they know nothing about.
