Many thanks for your kind reply and recommendations. I agreed with you Prof. Rick that hydrogen production cost by steam methane reforming is lower than water electrolysis. While the steam methane reforming required high temperature and hydrogen are generated with an unacceptable amount of GHG. also, the hydrogen production efficiency by steam reforming is 50-70% while the H2 production by water electrolysis process is around 80%.

Rick Manner Dear Sir, but studies reported that in maximum cases, people go with the electrolysis technique for only achieving the purest form of Hydrogen, doesn't matter about production cost.
