In one day when I was a Ph.D. student, a professor told me while I was in the exam time, "Emad try to think as an examiner not student!", this statement changes my thinking style and pushing me (my mind) forward.

This happen by engaging the students in all class activities and treating them as decision makers not only as passive receivers. Students centred approach promote for such ideas where the students become autonomous learners.
At the outset it is the responsibility to understand the students generally in every walks of their life. It is a teacher who understand their student . For teaching line for the student , teachers is a very great master in the sense that it is in own professional & as such he understand the mind ,behavior ,technique office speech ,temperament ,which may help me to evaluate the students as a teacher.
Teaching & trainer both go hand in hand .Only difference with the trainer that a trainer must have an personality with a smiling bent of mind so that as a trainer he can certainly impress to his student & student would also aspect in a joyful manner which may help his career plan .
A leader are born & not made . When we talk about leader who are in the mind ,a service & welfare for the people .Such leaders are not after power or frame as their contribution may work as everlasting .
One way to engage students through Identifies questions that need to be addressed at each step of the program development process, then explains how student answered these questions.....
I think engaging students as Tutors ,Trainers , and/or Leaders is more applicable on students studying in higher education more than the undergraduates.
To me, the goal is not so easy. The quality of the teacher plays its role. I consider that if the teacher is of high quality, the postgraduates have more possibilities than the undergraduates, regarding the engagement of the question, as pointed out by dear Prof. Judeh.
To make students leaders demands engaging them in class activities, leaving them the ground to explain certain topics as if they are teachers and try all the time to treat them as decision makers.
At the link given below, there is an article entitled "A positive student-teacher relationship". The summary of the article is given as follows:
"Optimistic student-teacher relationships can be developed through fertile daily interactions, conscious efforts to connect and win them over. These bonds not only contribute to a positive classroom environment, but it also improves the quality of school life for both the teacher and students."
As can be guessed from the above statement, the good engagement with students by tutors, trainers, and leaders would be having fertile interactions and friendship.
It is the teacher's job to formulate a classroom management plan to facilitate the development of an effective learning environment. The student also has an obligation in the development of a quality learning environment. Following individual rules or expectations is just the beginning. In addition to complying with posted rules, students should be expected to show respect for self and others and meet all behavioral and academic expectations.
I think that we can make our students leaders by engaging them in class activities and assigning them certain topics related to their syllabus and make the present the topic themselves.
