Internet of Things and Internet of Everything, both the terms are used for almost the same technology. Is there really a difference or both are the same. Do these terminologies have any separate meanings and definitions?
Yes, they have separate meanings and definitions. The IoT term was coined by Kevin Ashton in 1999 and focuses predominantly on physical objects communicating with each other (aka Machine-to-Machine or M2M). IoE was coined later and is considered a superset of IoT. Cisco, which first introduced the term the Internet of Everything, believes that this process brings people, data, and things together to make networked connections more relevant and valuable.

in addition to purely technical things, people, processes and data are increasingly being integrated into the Internet of Things (IoT). To indicate that this is an such integration in which people, processes, data and technical things are networked via the Internet and can cooperate with one another, this is called the Internet of Everything (IoE).
The IoE is formed by networking people, processes, data and technical things. The advantage of the IoE is that people, things / devices, processes and data can be integrated into one intelligent, dynamic, widely distributed virtual system. A virtual factory can serve as an example of such a virtual system.
Since intelligent things in IoE can largely be connected to processes, data and people in real time, this will have a greater impact on our society in the future.
