19 November 2021 3 8K Report

Dear researchers,

I am studying the Organic Redox Flow Battery systems and trying some experiments to find out the capacity of my organics with 3-electrode studies. In literature, authors mostly solved their reactants and add HCl acid or NaCl to make the electrical conduction in the cell. However, each of them uses different amounts of reactants and acid/salt. For example, some of them used 1 mM reactant and 1 M HCl, some of them used 10 mM reactant in 1 M NaCl, and the other one used 0.1 mM reactant and 3 M H2SO4. They do not explain the reason for their choice.

My question is how I can determine my solution for RFB 3-Electrode tests?

Thank you very much,

Taha Yasin
