Consult others, do your own search about the conference, and check conference theme/main tracks to see whether they fit your expertise and objectives.

Unfortunately, predatory magazines have appeared in the science sector. They are deceiving scientists. This is very painful.

My View:

Conference is a place where you share and gain some Knowledge.

But the evaluation of conference is only based on speakers and judges' which makes the conference more valuable.

Indeed dplp library provides list for computer science journals and conferences but about management science and other research areas

Always target a conference of renowned body like 'Academy of Management', 'British Academy of Management', 'Academy of International Business', and 'ANZAM' are the famous associations and organize conference regularly in the domain of Management. Similarly, each discipline has its own reputed bodies - just target those conferences in nowadays era (predatory).

The website usually reveals information pertaining to the purpose, invited lectures, speakers, and the topics, which the conference would be dealing with. Personally, I would look into these before deciding to participate/present in it. The funding agency's name in the brochure, at times, helps us make a decision.

Beware of predators!

It all depends on how wide is the spectrum of topics presented at the meeting and above all who is/are organizing the meeting and who is invited to talk about research.

The situation is complex when an organization publishes journals and runs conferences, sometimes publishing the proceedings. It seems that some of an organization's activities might be predatory and others not. I have already raised this issue on RG:
