The word ‘environment’ reminds us of polluted air, dirty water, dead fish, fossil fuelled agriculture, parking lots, highways and slums.How can we create and increase responsibility of our children and youth about our living environment and "Earth"?
Only by main streaming environmental protection sciences into the educational system prepared for children and youths. Curriculum needs to be revised and integrate ethics for environmental health so as to shape up the outlook of the youths.
Perhaps simply by taking children and young people to see for themselves the beauty of nature (forests, lakes, mountains and the sea, the life that develops there). See with their eyes, their five senses, and not through screens.
