We want to design planar antennas (in open or shielded configuration) by using HFSS software but we are facing a problem with boundaries conditions.
How to select theses boundaries.?
Thanks in advance.
Dear Mohamed,
You can create boundaries conditions using an Open Region Boundary as follow,
1. Right-click anywhere in the modeler window and select Create Open Region from the
short-cut menu.
Note: Observe the operating frequency is the same as the adaptive frequency of (Fc GHz).
Since you already defined the solution frequency in the Analysis setup, Create Open Region
automatically defines the Operating Frequency with the same adaptive frequency, in this
case, (Fc GHz).
2. Ensure Boundary is set to Radiation and click OK as shown in the attached figure.
