Though the Si nano wires are not transparent, you can try with FTIR with Reflectance mode or even you can try with Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy.

You can calculate using UV-VIs spectroscopy measurement whcih have to be performed in reflectance mode not in transmission mode.
