I'm working on SAR Images Co-registration.I want to divide my image into two looks with the spectral diversity method. But I did not find its complete formulas in any article.
Does anyone know how I can do this? Or do you know the paper that fully explains the algorithm?
Is your SAR image contain only magnitude information or both amplitude and phase for each pixel? If it is in fact a complex-valued image (amplitude & phase or Real & Imaginary values) then you should be able to take an inverse FFT in the cross-range or Doppler direction which would convert that axis to a slow time axis. Then split axis in 2 equal parts and take forward FFT of each section to get 2 SAR images - each with coarser resolution, but effectively taken at 2 different times.
Hello, you cannot apply this approach because it is done at the level of image acquisition. For example with the ERS satellite from the 90's, we had 3 looks image and the processing is done at the level of the formation of the picture.
