I'm familiar with how to model a layered structure using the atlas commands. I've been using the 6 neighbor energy term to model the exchange interaction, but I would now like to add an antiferromagnetic layer to this structure. How would I define the coupling as antiferromagnetic within the layer and what would I enter for Ms, since there is no net magnetization?
Why do you check the work of Binder and Landau from the eighties on lattice models for antiferromagnetic systems, also you may see the work by J.M. Sanchez, J.L. Moran-Lopez and F. Aguilera-Granja on antiferromafnetic systems. You can mimic an antiferromagnetic system using simultaneously to interpenetrating lattices.
Thanks for the suggestions. Pinning the spins is probably the easiest route and I will try this.
