For instance, an octahedral complex which is stlll showoing the presence of non cordinated water molecules from its Ft Ir spectra

You can analyzed its by TG.

Also, can place the solid compound in oven at 100 degree centigrade for 1 h. Its decrease weight is appropriate to non coordination water molecules.
