If there was a time machine and it would be possible to go back in time, our strategic decisions that had a big impact on the development of later events would be slightly different than those that were actually taken in the past. It would result from having additional information about the development of later situations and events.
However, the paradox is that so many people would do it, so the current reality would be almost certainly different than it is, so also our original knowledge about the development of later situations and events would be different and thus the paradox of temporary looping arises.
