I would like to know how can I transform the tcpdump data to KDDCup99 Intrusion Detection Dataset format.
This dataset contains 41 features, but I dont know how can I preprocess the tcpdump data to be like KDDCup.

There will be tedious works for that.. hehehe.
As far as i can remember, the tcpdump data need to be save as csv files (comma delimited), then only you can save .csv to.xls so that all the commas will be recognize as columns. then create query to store in the database. import .xls to your database. cannot .csv to your database, coz it will recognize it as one column. everytime, make sure you check you data randomnly. to makesure your imported data enter the right columns. label of the database properties for kddcup99 can be acces from the link you paste.
