Articles published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license may be uploaded to other websites, such as repositories or ResearchGate, without any problems.
However, the CC BY-SA 4.0 license must again be specified. This is the only way to comply with the “SA” component (Share Alike or redistribution under the same conditions) of the license.
Unfortunately, I can't find how to mark the license for an article uploaded to ResearchGate.
When you upload a full text to ResearchGate, there is no field to define a license. However, you may add a front page to the PDF file indicating the specific license. See also https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/sections/14292519175697-Copyright for information on copyright questions.
By the way, ResearchGate provides a license field for research items of the type "Data", but not for publications (Article, Book, Chapter).
