I am assuming this is a gas adsorption experiment. You need a packed column, mass flow controller and valves upstream of the column, a flow meter and a detector down stream. Additionally you need provisions for data logging and controlling flow controllers and temperatures with labview
If you're talking about the liquid phase dynamic adsorption, you can use a power device, such as a peristaltic pump, to drive the mobile phase through the pipe at a specific flow rate (the pipe can be made from flexible plastic), while the adsorbent is fixed somewhere in the pipe. The mobile phase flowing through the adsorbent should be taken at a certain interval, then detect the component in the taken one.
