I m trying to see the presence of saponins in plant seeds and leaf

If you search in literature you'll find a lot of articles that could help you with that, on the other hand, you could also use simple tests to confirm if there's saponins in your samples, such as foam test and liebermann burchard's. But for TLC analysis, we use the follow solvent system: Chloroform: Acetic Acid:Methanol: Water (64:32:12:8) and sulfuric vanilin, followed by heating (100 °C/ 5-10 min) as a chromogenic agent. You're supposed to see stains with these colours: green, blue, violet and red-brownish.
