(1) You could ferment it to alcohol. (2) If there is a specific substance that you are interested in, an extraction with organic solvent could be used. (3) The sugars could be precipitated with organic solvent.
It's a very hard question. For me the best answer could be the enzymatic conversion of sugars using a mix of isomerase, oxydase and invertase. However, the medium will contain always gluconic acid.
The filtration strategies such as nanofiltration or other risk to eliminate all small molecules (salts, amino acids,....) of the medium.
