aoa my research topic is resource management in cloud computing. my supervisor ask me to relate it to parallel computing. can any one tell me how can i do so ?

My advise would be to start with Load balancing systems and algorithms from Parallel processing systems to understand the fundamentals. You can also have a read of my paper to get some ideas.
Conference Paper Applying Coalition Concepts to Service Oriented Multi-Agent ...
Then read some papers from 1990 to 2005 on distributed systems, Load balancing, QoS and other resource optimization mechanisms. Once you are familiar with these areas you can then jump into the Cloud computing bandwagon. You can also read up a copy of my book "The Art of Cloud Computing for Businesses".
