Hello Scholars,

When I measure cyclic voltammogram for AOR, there are many noises!

What could be responsible for this behaviour?

Does it lead to appear noises in current signal if molar concentration of the electrolytes in cell and in RE, such as 0.1M NaOH in the cell and 1M NaOH in RE?

NB:

1. I have checked electrical contacts, all seems fine.

2. I have done a (background recording) control CV using only H2SO4 (no catalyst in WE), it gives a clean (no noise) curve.

3. I have also used a different WE and freshly refilled REF electrode but obtained same result (noisy curves).

4. No gas bubbles during CV measurement, so i can conclude i dont have gas (H2 or O2) interference.

5. I have attempted to obtain a clean CV measurement using a lower scan rate

How can I reduce noise on the cyclic voltammogram during measurement.

Thank you for your feedbacks
