Hi,
I am preparing gelatin nanoparticles using two-step desolvation method, the size of nanoparticles were about 150 nm.When I come to purification step I centrifuge the nanoparticles at 12,000 rpm (the highest speed of our centrifuge) for 15-20 min, but no supernatant was formed.
Do you have any other techniques used to purify gelatin nanoparticles ?

can you make clear your question? let me explain, the centrifugation is a process that can help you to separate the supernatant and the pellet.
In this case, gelatin nanoparticles, in the first washing, better you use the highest speed of centrifugation and longest time. I used 14000 rpm for 30 minutes. if the speed had limited, just do it a little bit longer. Then, take it out the supernatant carefully, it is normal if you did not see your pellet clearly.
