Just look at journals that do not state that they are open access journals - as those are typically the ones that will ask you to pay a hefty fee for publishing it. (And in many occasions those journals will be rather bad in providing criticism, corrections, and so on, as they are only interested in your money.)

You can publish without any fees and in an internationally reputable journal. You have to identify the one that suit your paper and with no APC.

You can publish your article on a reputable institution for free as long as you meet their objective and theme. A thorough peer review will be needed prior to publishing. But you can do that.

Yes if your paper has an original contribution, then you can easily publish at no cost.

I would not say that it is easy. First, you may be unlucky that several papers in or near your field have just been published in your journal of choice, which means that it might take a long time before the editors want to publish yet another one. Second, you may be unlucky with both the handling editor, and three reviewers, finding that your manuscript is not sufficiently interesting.

I find it puzzling that you can state that it is easy. Sure, you can pay $1000 to get any old rubbish published in a useless open access journal, but that's cheating, and also it will ruin anyone's reputation.

Sure you can publish all without no costs but it will take yearly since first processed, reviews (it might tenth times), final proofread and publish. Paper with no fee usually take at least a year at the fastest.

Going against hallowed traditions, I first start with the good news, and then come to the bad news.

The good news: As many have pointed above, "good journals", like "good girls" never charge. But that is about as good as it can get.

The bad news: In this age of mass education and mass publication ("publish or perish") only limited number of "good guys" from only a limited number of "good countries" have real and practical access to these "good journals". So most likely you will get a "polite" rejection slip even if your paper is good.

The sad reality is that after running around a lot for a long time, you may be forced to publish your paper for a fee. Not all these journals are "predatory journals", just as not all those "good journals" are that good. I guess they have to charge a moderate fee to survive themselves. But I never said there are no predatory journals.

A slight hope for you is to try Springer because it is in mass publication.

Again, as the links given by others show, finding a right research journal for yourself is a research in itself involving almost as much effort as you required for your research paper.
