I want to present the mesh, boundary, and loading conditions (together in one plot figure) of the FE model using finite element analysis software (Abaqus).
Hi, I think you want to show the symbols of loads, boundaries and meshes in a window. If so, firstly, you should select the model with meshes to display in the main viewport, then select the load conditions (as we as the BCs) under the Load Module but not cancel the sub-window, thereby the symbols will appear in the meshes. Hope it will help you!
Open the Abaqus CAE module and load your model. Go to the Visualization module by clicking on the "Visualization" button on the main toolbar. In the "Model Tree" on the left-hand side of the screen, expand the model components that you want to include in the plot. To display the mesh, select the mesh component in the "Model Tree". Then, go to the "Display" tab and click on the "Mesh" button to show the mesh. To display the boundary conditions, select the relevant boundary condition sets in the "Model Tree". Then, go to the "Display" tab and choose the appropriate display options (e.g. color, line style) to show the boundary conditions. To display the loading conditions, select the relevant load case in the "Model Tree". Then, go to the "Display" tab and choose the appropriate display options to show the loading (e.g. arrow for force, color for pressure). Arrange the displays in a single plot figure by selecting the "Layout" tab and choosing a layout that suits your needs. Save the plot figure as an image or a report file.
thanks professors Mehdi Ebadi-Jamkhaneh and Changfang Zhao, i tried your steps but i also can't the required figure. if you can you please send me screenshots of these steps, i will very much appreciate that
