I want to prepare different concentrations solution from a solid powdered hormone. But I m feeling little bit difficulty in preparing low concentration of 10, 15, 20 and 25 ng/g.
You need to weigh in as little as you can reliably weigh; this will probably be a few mg. Add water (or buffer, or whatever you are using as a solvent) to make a standard solution. Dilute this until you arrive at your desired concentration. This is called a serial solution and, usually, volumetric flasks are used to do this. Remember to shake each flask before using it for the next dilution.
