I am working on drone swarm communication for military applications using NetSim. The network operates with a TDMA MAC layer and UHF/VHF-based PHY. Dynamic TDMA divides time into slots to prevent collisions, with PHY rate determined by slot duration, guard interval, symbol rate, modulation, and coding rate.
After calculating PHY capacity, the available capacity per node is determined based on effective slot time. In a two-node round-robin setup, each node receives half the link capacity, while multi-node scenarios further divide it.
Throughput depends on packet size and fragmentation. Large packets improve efficiency but may require multiple slots, while smaller packets reduce latency but lower throughput. Mobility and random arrivals also impact performance.
You must calculate theoretical throughput considering these factors and compare the results with NetSim.
