There is no specifications, as I seen until now.
However, we may wait for the better answers from seniors.

according to my modest experience with LC polymers, generally monomers leading to a stiff and rigid chain backbone with the possibility for moderate and/or strong intermolecular interactions, have a high tendency and chance to show a LC state. Regards
