Milling, mixing and sieving will be good enough to obtain the homogeneous powdered bentonite.

If you are taking about few hundreds grams you can use the tools commonly used for the pharmaceutics labs.

If you are dealing with small quantities (lab analyses), I would suggest an agate mortar and pestle. Look for agate mortar pestle on Google (also Google images).
